Sports car racing
Racing is a sport in which athletes compete for speed vs an objective criterion, such as a clock or specified spot. In a race, contestants attempt to finish a job in the least period of time possible. This usually entails travelling a certain distance, but it may also be any other work that requires speed in order to achieve a specified goal.
A race can be performed continuously from start to finish or in chunks known as heats, stages, and legs. Heat is frequently repeated at different periods over the same course.
